Position: Summer Student
Location: Remote in the Eastern Standard Time Zone
Duration: 3 months from June-August
Hours per week: 20-25 hours/month
Fees: $19/hour CDN paid monthly
About Nathalie, Pictonat Creative & Position Description:
Nathalie is the CEO, Personal Brand Strategist and Photographer for Pictonat Creative, helping women entrepreneurs ignite their brand online with visual storytelling and creative brand solutions. The core values at Pictonat Creative are 1) Openness & Trust, 2) Community, 3) End-to-end customer experience, and 4) Knowledge. She is looking for a Summer Student in that can help with creative content for the core business.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Admin for Pictonat Facebook group: let people in, record email addresses, create Facebook events, coordinate with guest speakers
- Assist in preparing content (text and graphics) for multiple social platforms including email marketing and website
- Assist in designing creative assets for online courses
- Assist in designing graphical elements for email marketing, website, social media
- Assist in applying improvements to the end user experience on the website.
Required Skills:
- Ability to meet deadlines consistently and manage multiple tasks
- Solution oriented mindset to resolve any problems that arise
- Tech savvy and open to using new tools and software
- Positive attitude and professionalism when working together, communicating with clients and when representing Pictonat online and in the virtual space
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Self starter with high attention to detail
Apps + tools required for the position:
- Successful candidate will need their own computer and will work from home
- Position requires the use of Instagram, Later, Buffer, Pinterest, Trello, Facebook Groups, Facebook Pages, Constant Contact, WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, Streamyard, Canva, Zoom, Dubsado, Click-up and Google Drive
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an admin, marketing, and/or and content coordination for a small business or organization with knowledge of a variety of tools and platforms
- Experience in marketing, managing client experience, or communications
Assets:
- Knowledge of the photography industry and branding for entrepreneurs
- Previous experience working with entrepreneurs
- Experience with WordPress + Website platforms
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Bridge
- Proficiency with Canva and graphic design applications
- Graphic design experience

Position: Marketing Content Coordinator + Virtual Assistant (Independent Contractor)

Nathalie is the CEO, Personal Brand Strategist and Photographer for Pictonat Creative, helping women entrepreneurs ignite their brand online with visual storytelling and creative brand solutions. The core values at Pictonat Creative are 1) Openness & Trust, 2) Community, 3) End-to-end customer experience, and 4) Knowledge. She is looking for a Content Media Coordinator + Virtual Assistant that can help with the administrative duties for the core business.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Batch creating weekly email newsletters
- Admin for Pictonat Facebook group: let people in, record email addresses, create Facebook events, coordinate with guest speakers
- Assist in scheduling content for Pictonat to social media channels, email newsletter and the website blog
- Assist in preparing content (text and graphics) for multiple social platforms including email marketing and website
- Provide virtual launch support for Pictonat promotions and events
- Assist with scheduling appointments and client onboarding
- Create blog posts and pinterest collages from final selection of photos from each photo session
- Assist in distributing edited photos to the customer through an online photo gallery service and managing any additional edit requests with the team
- Assist in placing print orders during peak periods as needed and tracking completion and delivery of orders

Nathalie is the CEO, Personal Brand Strategist and Photographer for Pictonat Creative, helping women entrepreneurs ignite their brand online with visual storytelling and creative brand solutions. The core values at Pictonat Creative are 1) Openness & Trust, 2) Community, 3) End-to-end customer experience, and 4) Knowledge. She is looking for a Photo Editor that can help with processing of client galleries.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Review photos and apply any necessary edits/retouching to correct blemishes and making adjustments to colour, crops,tone, lighting, sharpness to achieve highest quality
- Ability to do advanced photo editing such as removing unwanted objects in a scene and merging elements from multiple images into one
- Using photo editing software to correct
- Ensure adherence to style guide and branding
- Assist with uploading edited photo collections to viewing galleries
- Batch resizing of photos collections as needed for use on various platforms (websize, high res, cropped for social media)
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of digital photography foundations including composition, colour correction, and working with layers in Photoshop
- Ability to meet time sensitive deadlines consistently
- Tech savvy and open to using new tools and software
- Strong understanding of digital photo format requirements for online platforms (website, social media, print, marketing materials)
- Positive attitude and professionalism when working together, communicating with clients and when representing Pictonat online and in the virtual space
- Self starter with high attention to detail
Apps + tools required for the position:
- Successful candidate will need their own computer and will work from home
- Position requires the use of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Bridge, photo-editing actions, Shootproof, dropbox.
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a photo editor/retoucher for imagery containing people
- Certificate, diploma, or degree in digital photography, visual arts or related field
Assets:
- Knowledge of the photography industry and branding for entrepreneurs
- Previous experience working with editing of professional headshots
- Proficiency with Canva and graphic design applications
- Graphic design experience
