Let me just start off with WOW. Nathalie did such an amazing job bringing all my random visions to life for my daughter's first cake smash! The vibrant colours, different backdrops, attention to details, every item had a personal touch to it. It made us really feel like it was all about our little girl. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a sign "Welcome to Mackenzie's Cake Smash". Her decor and backdrops complimented the birthday outfit perfectly. She incorporated my daughter's favourite toy and her donut themed party to the cake smash. Everything was perfect.. except for the crying birthday girl lol .. She was accommodating when we needed to reschedule. Completely professional, on time, kind, and has a way with children that makes them open up. Her communications and follow-ups were always professional while everything was laid out and easy to follow. She picked the perfect photo shoot location as well as helping to arrange additional hair styling and make-up. Rather than just sitting awkwardly in a chair, we instead were in a lovely salon and could take all kinds of pictures in different scenes and poses. There was also the opportunity to change into three different outfits. All in all, there were plenty of pictures to choose from so that I could select the best ones to use for online/social media. From the first meeting with Nathalie it was clear as day that we are in good hands. She handled all the prep effortlessly, with clear and easy instructions. Let's be honest, photo shoots for Moms can be really stressful. There's the outfit coordination, dealing with nap schedules and hungry tummies with little ones and making sure all goes smoothly on the day of. My kids are 2 and 6 (not the easiest ages for photos) but somehow every time Nathalie pulls some kind of magic and gets the most beautiful captures! She instantly puts everyone (adults and kids) at ease and even when kids are being a tad disagreeable, she doesn't lose her calm and fun demeanor and so is always able to capture some amazing photos.
